About the shot :
Chaos at the end mark.
The fickle breeze gets squeezed between the islands of the Maddalena Archipelago, and what looked like a straightforward mark rounding turns into a bit of a trap.
As the boats reach the mark, the wind starts shifting in both strength and direction. The big headsails that were just moments ago fully powered up suddenly turn into floppy curtains.
Time to drop, furl and scramble.
And for the spectators… the show begins!
