My connection to sailing began almost from birth. I grew up in the Swedish archipelago, surrounded by the sea, boats, and a sailing lifestyle that naturally became part of who I am. Some of my earliest memories are from life on the water, and sailing has remained a constant passion throughout my life. At the same time, photography has fascinated me since my teenage years. What started as a curiosity for capturing moments gradually grew into a lifelong creative pursuit. Combining these two passions, sailing and photography, felt like a natural path. Yacht racing photography allows me to be close to the sport I love while telling its stories through images. I am drawn to the intensity of competition, the teamwork onboard, the ever-changing weather, and the unique relationship between sailors and the forces of nature. Every race is different, and every photograph is an opportunity to capture a fleeting moment that reflects the beauty, skill, and emotion of the sport. Through my work, I aim to share not only the action of yacht racing but also the atmosphere and deep connection between people, wind, water, and adventure that make sailing so special.
