Andrew’s enthusiasm for all things marine has been the theme of his career. He has worked on various marine magazines, travelled the world for marine clients including Beneteau and last year he travelled to Barcelona to cover the Louis Vuitton 37th America's Cup. As a 14-year-old he spent Saturdays taking photos from the safety boat at his local club, then selling his work printed from his home darkroom this eventually led to a career as a commercial & marine photographer where he has covered the full gamut of marine photography from yachts and powerboats to commercial shipping. Andrew has worked with Australian Magazines including Power Boat, Modern Boating, Sea Spray and Ocean Magazine. Andrew’s studio & photo boat are only a stone’s throw from all the action on Sydney Harbour which is the primary source of a lot of his content, but he does like to travel. As a keen sailor, he is often torn between participating in a yacht race or photographing it but there is no doubt that his camera positioning is derived from his racing experience. Whilst he likes to focus on the action, Andrew often favours larger format seascapes that capture the majesty of the yachting.
