Biography
Born in Imperia on 22 January 1957, after studying at the Art School in Savona, he attended courses in graphic design and advertising, which he later interrupted to devote himself entirely to professional photography.
Since 1982, driven by a genuine passion for and love of Metric Class yachts, he has specialized in sailing photography, covering numerous regattas and events, mainly in Liguria, Tuscany and the French Riviera.
Coming from a family of sailors and seafarers, he finds in the sea a profound symbolic force that shapes his artistic vision. His photographs reflect a balance between professional experience and an instinctive, deeply human approach, expressed through a distinctive and evocative Mediterranean colors palette. His personal style has earned him recognition and awards at both national and international level. He has undertaken important assignments as a photographer and consultant for public institutions and private companies, particularly those interested in visual communication as a means of promotion and marketing. He has collaborated, and continues to collaborate, with sailing clubs, news agencies and specialized magazines covering sailing, vintage cars, cultural tourism and the arts.
Since 1982, I haven't photographed beautiful things, but the beauty of things.
