ACQUARONE gerolamo
Athlete / Boat :
DRAGON WITH SPY
Event :
Wooden Dragon World Cup 2026
Location :
Sanremo (IM)
About the shot :
Since I couldn't go out on the inflatable boat that day and had to stay ashore, I had the idea of creatively photographing the regatta from above—specifically from the hill overlooking the port of Sanremo. Using a super-telephoto lens (500mm x 1.5) along with multiple-exposure and slow-shutter techniques, I transformed those few boats into a multitude of beautiful, colorful "butterflies" moving across the sky blue sea.
Camera :
Nikon 500, Nikkor zoom 200-500mm f/5,6 , 100, f 32 , 1/10
