About the shot :
Vele d’Epoca Imperia 2026. As the classic yacht Halloween digs her rail into the sea, a wave sweeps across the deck just as two crewmen throw their weight into the winch: one smiling, the other all effort, joy and fatigue in the same instant. Shot at 370mm and 1/2000s with a Nikon D500, the challenge was timing: splash, expressions and heel had to align for a fraction of a second. For me, this frame holds everything classic yacht racing is about: teamwork, craftsmanship and the sea.
