The lens is positioned right at the water’s edge, almost immersed in the foam, when suddenly a yellow boat emerges against the vast blue sky. The wide-angle lens plays with scale : the foreground foam transforms into a seascape in its own right, while the boat appears to float between sea and sky. A fast shutter speed freezes every detail, the texture of the water, the flecks of foam, the suspended motion of the boat. The moment becomes almost motionless.
