55. Trofeo SAR Princess Sofia

I chose this image because it captures one of those split-second moments that you can never plan. During a capsize at the Trofeo Princesa Sofía in Palma, one 49erFX came down onto another boat, creating a chaotic but visually interesting scene. For me, it shows what makes high-performance sailing so exciting to photograph: speed, unpredictability and action can turn an ordinary racing moment into something completely unexpected within seconds. Out of the many images I shot during the event, this one immediately stood out because it tells the whole story in a single frame.
