Final day at Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, where I'm in charge of the TV production for the event. All the racing yachts are back in the harbour ready for the prize giving ceremony. We're all focussed on the editing of the day's feature film and as I leave the office for a phone call my eyes are drawn to the open sea. The light descends toward sunset over the anchored boats. On the horizon, two of the most beautiful schooners, Adix and Atlantic loom. They look like engaged in a match race along the coast of the Saint-Tropez gulf, tacking one over the other. My heart just leaps and I run back to the office to grab a camera and take this picture, the very first of the full set. It's probably one of the most iconic sailing scene I've ever seen, something you'd dream for and would never happen. As simple as it is : Magic !
