I chose this picture because it captures the essence of why I love shooting watersports: pure energy, color, and unpredictability. The moment is wild and chaotic, yet perfectly frozen—an athlete suspended between sea and sky, with nature adding its own light show. Shooting it on film added an extra layer of magic: the saturated colors, fine grain, and the anticipation of not knowing exactly what I had until the slides came back. For me, it’s not just about documenting a sport, but about sharing that rush of adrenaline and beauty that makes you feel alive.
