What makes me choose this photo is firstly, I haven't been attending many sailing events this years, this is actually the only regatta I have been ! Secondly, I think, the lines are gracious and bring the look straight into the action. If you look at the sailor’s arms, it kind of continues the wavy movements from the ropes that, by the way, slapped me quite hard during the shot ! I think it is important to be close to the action even if it can be risky.
