This photo was taken during the final race of the Scandinavian Gold Cup. Peter Morton built a new 5.5 Metre to try to win the race and then was unable to sail. Elliot Hansen was promoted from bow to helm and won both the Gold Cup and the Worlds, along with Andrew Palfrey and Sam Haines.
