Bram van Spengen was born and raised on the water, introduced to sailing by his parents before he could even walk. Growing up in a world shaped by wind, waves, and constant movement, he developed a deep connection to the ocean from an early age. This foundation naturally evolved into a passion for storytelling, leading him into the world of adventure television, where he spent years capturing dynamic, hostile and remote environments. Through his work on adventure-driven productions, Bram refined his ability to operate in challenging conditions, combining technical skill with a strong sense of narrative. His experience eventually opened the door to the highest level of professional sailing coverage. He went on to work with Rolex, shooting video across the most prestigious Rolex sailing events worldwide. In this role, Bram brings together his lifelong sailing background and visual storytelling expertise, documenting elite competition on the water with an authentic and cinematic perspective.
