Biography

I was born in Turin in 1973. Since childhood, I have had a deep passion for drawing and painting, teaching myself charcoal techniques and black & white, before soon falling in love with colour and oil painting. As an adult, I discovered photography, a form of expression that has now become an indispensable part of my life. During my law studies, this passion grew stronger and stronger, specialising in photographing two worlds I love: yachting and motorsport. I began regularly attending races and sporting events, which led me to start a career as a freelance photographer collaborating with various specialist magazines. I quickly achieved my first successes, with my photos featured on the covers of national publications. I firmly believe in a continual internal, personal search. I think in images, and I try to capture the meaningful moment where others see nothing. My greatest satisfaction comes when I let myself be guided by my feelings: my photographs are the result of a continuous mediation between my eyes and my mind. I give the utmost importance to composition and the shot, without neglecting the approach to colour, which I prefer to be vibrant and strong, capable of making a photograph brilliant and electrifying. Every image must evoke emotion; it must surprise me first and then those who observe it. For me, photography does not mean copying the visible, but searching for the fleeting moment, the impossible shot, something not yet seen. Achieving this requires total devotion.
