One of the old foxes of the international marine photography community, shooting boats and races since 1983 with a special interest in the America's Cup (12 editions covered, Oracle photographer for 11 years, 2013 San Francisco principal photog.), from dinghies to mega yachts, from classic yachts to hi-tech foilers, everything floating plus the sea itself and the marine environment and landscapes. Based in Marseille (South of France), Gilles works for prominent international magazines (beside Voiles et Voiliers), boatyards (including Beneteau, Wally Yachts), premiere sailing events (including Voiles de Saint-Tropez), top sailors or racing teams. He is also pushing hard on the video side with his former assistant Guilain Grenier under the "GMR+G1" banner and run a photo gallery on Marseille's "Vieux Port".
