I'm initially a motor sport photographer. However, the opportunity to cover for the Presse Sports agency of the L'Equipe Group the last two editions of the Vendée Globe inspired me to take a greater interest in sailing. I couldn't remain insensitive to the atmosphere and emotion of the skippers on their return after each competition, incomparable to any other motor racing event. Then sailing took on a more important role in my work than the world rally championship, where the playing field is closer to what I consider to be proper photography in an environment close to nature.
