Ocean racing is an incredible sport, but notoriously hard to truly capture. I’m an offshore sailor and photographer focused on documenting the beauty, intensity, and rhythm of yacht racing from on board. My work has appeared in diverse formats, including Yachting World, the documentary Windblown (about the Newport–Bermuda Race), and in award-winning author Carol Newman Cronin’s forthcoming book on the classic yacht Hound. Mid-race, mid-watch, and even mid-squall, the best part of photographing offshore races is that you get to be there.
