Biography
The ocean was always my playground before it became my favourite photographic subject, after I bought my first underwater housing. I started by shooting beneath the surface, drawn to the light and the shape of the waves, and little by little my eye rose towards the horizon: the world of sailors and their boats.
It was in Lorient, the capital of offshore racing, that my career took off. I learned my craft alongside the Mini and Figaro circuits, discovering how to capture the effort, commitment and solitude of the sailors.
My work soon took me on board and around the IMOCAs, and then the Ultims.
At the same time, I had the privilege of diving into the heart of elite inshore sailing, covering the SailGP circuit for four years, where photography becomes a matter of reflexes, precision and anticipation, sometimes at speeds of over 50 knots.
