I'm a documentary photographer working mostly in Africa with refugee communities and people living in vast urban slums. To decompress I go sailing, either on wooden boats or on our 50 year old Swan 47, currently in Sardinia. Usually the desire to sail means I don't get to photograph racing boats but occasional the two parts of my life, photography and sailing, overlap.
