Malta

Growing up in Malta, the sea and sailing have always been a huge part of my life. I started sailing at the age of three, progressing from dinghies to racing yachts, and have been fortunate enough to compete both locally and internationally. Photography came naturally from my love of sailing. Growing up, I was inspired by photographers who could capture not just the beauty of a racing yacht, but the speed, emotion and intensity of the sport. What started as a passion gradually developed into an opportunity to combine two things I genuinely love. Today, alongside my career in architecture, I work as a sailing and yachting photographer, covering events both in Malta and internationally. For me, yacht racing photography is about much more than beautiful boats. It’s about telling the stories behind the racing, capturing the atmosphere, the people, and those fleeting moments that make our sport so special. Being a sailor myself gives me a different perspective on the water, helping me anticipate moments before they happen.
