The photo was taken at the finish line of the Silver Ribbon sailing race - at sunrise. The race is unique in that it starts in the evening, it is primarily a night race. The special thing about the picture is that it was taken on a lake. The boat has already left the Tihany Strait. It is a rare occasion that the sunrise is visible through this. The strait divides the lake into two basins, and the picture clearly shows that there is no wind in the Eastern Basin.
