About the shot :
On a very hot and humid August Sunday morning, the final day of Ashbridges Bay Yacht Club Seahorse Youth Regatta, young 29er sailors determinedly searched not only for wind pressure, but for the course marks hidden in the low lying fog.
The high key, bold colour contrast and ghostly floating subjects are what appeal to me in this image.
The environmental conditions (high sun, heat distortion, fog, low wind) and distance from the subjects (over 300 meters) pushed the photographic equipment's capabilities to the maximum.
