Route du Rhum 2018

Saint-Malo (France)

The Route du Rhum is an incredible event. 123 solo sailors started in Saint-Malo, in the direction of Pointe à Pitre (Guadeloupe), in different classes: Ultimate, Multi 59, IMOCA and Class 40 (photo). The race is followed by a very large public, at the port but also on the water as you can see on the picture! Motorboats have difficulty keeping up with the speed of sailing boats!
