About the shot :
The high performance Fast 40+ Class is rapidly developing into one of the most exciting race classes to be found on the Solent. Taking part in a number of Series Regattas throughout the season, Shaun always tries to chase down the action, guranteed to provide dynamic close fleet racing, with upto 14 teams on the start line. This image was captured early in the season, during a sunny Sping day with light to moderate breeze, and encapsulates the close rivalry often seen amongst this class on a Windward-Leeward race course.
