My name is Nils, I’m 19 years old, and I’m a photographer and videographer with a strong focus on sailing and the maritime world. My passion for photography started while travelling, where I became fascinated by capturing different cultures, places, and moments. Over time, I began bringing that passion into my own interests, especially sailing. Having started sailing in Optimist at a young age and eventually becoming a competitive sailor myself, I developed a deep connection with the sport. Combining my experience on the water with photography and videography allows me to capture sailing from a unique perspective. I’m especially drawn to the challenges of shooting at sea: the waves, changing conditions, raw action, and unpredictable moments that make every shoot different.
