About the shot :
It was the final run of the day in a shifty and puffy Northerly. The team in the photo was sailing displacement mode, but found a huge puff. Upon accelerating, they stuffed their nose, decelerating from probably 16 kts to 8. If you look closely, you can see the top of the mainsail inverting as the tip of the mast kept sailing while the boat stopped.
