The fog descended during the last race of the first day of racing at the RC44 Cascais Cup. I thought all the boats had crossed the finish line until I saw in the distance Artemis Racing, broached, out of control with their gennaker flogging. It was so difficult to focus on the boat because of the fog, but, instead, I could focus on their team RIB and coach Tom Burnham, who was watching his team from a distance, outside the fog. In that moment, we had around 20 knots and as you can see, not much visibility!
